The Camden Club, NW1 8AN , [Venue Details]Janie Price aka“BIRD”is an award-winning half English, half Irish singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. She is based in London UK and Tuscany Italy.
She started her classical music training on cello aged 6 and learnt drums from age 11. The unlikely pairing, born from a love of Jaqueline Du Pre and John Bonham saw her play in youth orchestras and rock bands.At 18 she started her professional career as a session musician which has seen her play for the likes of Emeli Sande, Vanessa Mae, Roachford and Just Jackto name a few.
